Hi Friends,

We are so excited to welcome Chef Carolyn Swanson to our team of friendly and dedicated staff! 

Chef Swanson has 15 years of professional cooking experience, specializing in fine dining, event and seasonal favorites.  A graduate of San Diego Culinary Institute and classically French trained, she is passionate about preparing high quality food.  Chef Swanson cooks an outstanding brunch, and is able to adapt meals based on your dietary needs.  Stay tuned for an Inn on Carleton cookbook, where the chef will share some of her culinary secrets!

Chef Swanson looks forward to treating you to a healthy and delicious breakfast for your stay at the Inn on Carleton!  We hope you will choose to join us when you explore what Portland has to offer this summer.

We just had a nice treat for our guests at the Inn this morning. Sarah Hallie Richardson intertained our guests with her new CD "Restless" during breakfast. A big hit. This just might have to be a regular treat for guests !

The countdown to MRW12 is underway

It's less than a week to Maine Restaurant Week 2012, March 1-10. Many of the
restaurants have posted their menus, they've got everything from Green Eggs and Ham
to Chicken Marsala and Cornbread Crusted Hake to X-Large Cookies.
